It looks much more like an full equal collaboration than what I might consider "mentoring".
As someone who has never mentored a team, I would like to know what each teams relationship is like. Mind sharing? |

good observation Jeff.
3664 is a neighboring school that consists a team of three and two mentors. our mentoring basically amalgamated the two teams to further their understanding of design, fabrication and assembly. (not mentioning the ropes of FIRST itself!) they do not have a machine shop or many essential tools so they work in our shop as well. next year they will branch off and (hopefully) become fully independent. if you have any other specific questions feel free to PM me. |
