I don't know how you can blame a robot getting stuck in the goal on the GDC. The field drawings showed all of the dimensions of the goals. If a team doesn't want to risk getting stuck then they need to plan around it. - JamesBrown [more]

I was asked by a team if they could go out and purchase additional wheels or different wheels?

The answer is NO. You may however fabricate wheels from materials on the additional materials list as long as you do not violate additional rules regarding precision machining.

NOTE: Make sure that your wheels do not damage the carpet surface.
