[OCCRA]: vex robot legal materials

my team would like to know if there are restrictions on materials used on the vex robot for the occra competition, specifically, can we use the following items: angle aluminum, lexan/polycarbonate? We were unable to find a rule that prohibited items other that vex parts only.

Official Answer Mike Martus:
As per the OCCRA VEX rules you may use any material from the additional material list. This is clearly spelled out in the OCCRA VEX section of the rules.

WARNING:
Please do not confuse the OCCRA Competition with the 2012 Official VEX Gateway Competition rules. These are two different organizations with their specific rules that may be different. In regards to your question your VEX robot is legal for OCCRA but NOT for VEX Gateway.
