We have a question does is required to make the safty animation or it was only for the competition?

The safety animation is a separate, standalone competition. You are not required to make a safety animation to compete in the main FRC competition.

You use the 3D Studio Max software. I believe there some other autodesk pieces you can use.

You have to use the Autodesk 3DS MAX software, but you are easily able to import creations made in Autodesk Inventor into the 3DS MAX software. If you need any other advice, let me know!
