I got stuck on this too and simply selected the USB device above that one (I forget the precise name, and don't have a Classmate at hand - however there were only two USB devices) and it worked fine.
You can't damage your computer by temporarily changing the boot order, so no worries.
If winning that individual match is more important to you than being there in the first place, then I believe you've got your priorities in the wrong spot. - Tom Bottiglieri [more]
