No NXT required?

looking at the Minibot rules it doesn't look like you need to control it from the NXT, could you just make a circuit using the battery and a button to complete the circuit to the motors and not have an NXT on the minibot at all?

An official answer should be coming from the FRC Q&A sometime soon. I know the question has been asked, but has not yet been answered.

We will know the definitive answer to this once the GDC posts a reply to that exact question posted on the Q&A board Thursday.

Hi,
We just got the FTC kit from AndyMark yesterday, the one from FIRST parts, and it does not include a controler, I hope they answer the question soon
