Co-opertition Bonus?

After searching the manual, chief delphi, and the Q&A's, I still have not found an answer to what the purpose of the co-opertition score is. The manual says that for every mini-bot that is lent out and successfully scores in that match, a team receives a co-opertition bonus of one point. However, it does not address where this bonus is useful.

My best guess's are:
1) It is added to the qualifying score.
2) It is added to the ranking score.
3) It will be added to the match score.
4) It will be used to break ties in the rankings.

However, number four seems very unlikely because the manual clearly defines this process as ranking score, qualifying score, team with highest match score, and them random. So I was wondering if anyone in the cheifdelphi world has found anything I haven't. Thank you.

It's none of those. Coopertition Points are used solely for the award.

Also, maybe you searched only with the hyphen because this is totally the same question.

Thank you. And yes I did only search with the hyphen. And didn't look in the awards section. Many question have now been answered for me.
