LabVeiw Code Deployment

Ok so I am trying to put code on to the cRIO and use the classmate as the driverstation.
In labView in the project manager I go to build dependecies and right click and click on "run as startup" and then it tells me that it completed the process and then I need to reboot the cRIO and I allow the computer to do it. I then plug in the classmate and it gets communication with the cRIO, but it tells me that no code is detected. Did I do some thing wrong?

First thing i would do is to open up labView and open your project. Go to the "File" menu and hit the button that says debug. A popup should appear asking if you want to debug your code. Click yes and a status bar will appear on the screen. After it completes, retry the connection.

Before you chose "Run as Startup", did you first "Build" the project?

Re: LabVeiw Code Deployment

Build project
Run as startup
Reboot does not seem to work that well from labview
Reboot from the driver station under diagnostics tab (I think)
Wait for a few until you get communication and Robot Code

Hope this helps

Re: LabVeiw Code Deployment

also, make sure you read the dialog box during deployment. If, when it's finished and waits for you to click a button (i forget which), it says "deployment completed with errors" then it didn't work. Simplest troubleshooting for this would be cold reseting the cRIo and trying again.
