I was going to make a schematic of the layout for the team. Does everyone use Altium Designer? We are a rookie team and aren't familiar with Altium Designer. I'm game though. Thanks for the info.

Which layout?

If you're trying to layout the entire electronics system, Eagle (or Altium) isn't the right tool for the job. Eagle is used to do schematic capture and design PCBs, such as the gyro breakout board. It won't work to do large-scale layout.

For this, we generally use the same CAD as we use for the rest of the robot (Inventor, for us).
