Re: Our 2011 Robot Design

Looks solid. What is the function of the orange parts. I can see there's a piston there but not much more.

Re: Our 2011 Robot Design

so, how would your upper claw move? with a seperate cable on top? and how do you plan to move your arm up?? we were thinking a mini pneumatic tube puching the arm up and hinges to keep it in place.

Re: Our 2011 Robot Design

Is there gonna be a minibot or no?
The grabber is good with the up and down, but r u going to pivot the arm back into the profile, cuz the tube is fair game if the arm is straight up.

Re: Our 2011 Robot Design

How are you going to have the fork-life style grabber inside the bumper zone for initial configuration (i.e. the start of the match). It looks pretty fixed besides the y-axis.
