Re: How does one program?

I'm not sure about C++ or Java, but if you're programming in LabView you can go here. Labview Videos and Tutorials can be found on the right-hand side.

Re: How does one program?

I would recommend Labview. If you need help I can try to help you. You can PM me whenever. I didn't know how to program last year but learned it pretty quickly. I don't how easy C++ or Java are, but I do know that Labview was pretty easy.

Re: How does one program?

If you choose to learn C++, there is great documentation and a very well-made tutorial at CPlusPlus.com. This is where to start if you would like to learn how to code in C++.

Re: How does one program?

The first and most important step in getting help from users here is telling us what language you intend to use.

The resources and tips we share with you will depend very heavily on whether you use Java, C++, or Labview.

Do you have any mentors on your team who are familiar with programming?

Have you looked through the default code for your language of choice?

Re: How does one program?

Honestly, I'm also new to programming but I found Labview was so much easier to use...

Here is a tutorial site I've been using, it was A LOT easier than the videos I found...

Re: How does one program?

ESP, if you intend to learn programming, you can ask any of the senior members of our programming division, I'm sure any of them would be glad to assist you.
