Exclamation Problems with launching Vision Assistant on our classmate.

Every time we attempt to open NI's Vision Assistant A message comes up telling us to make the resolution higher. We have it set on the max resolution and we have put the taskbar on auto hide. The message continues to come up and we aren't sure what else we can do. This happens with or without the axis camera attached. I am open to any suggestions. We are a rookie team and are using the 2011 Classmate. We are also using the Axis camera that came in the KOP.

Re: Problems with launching Vision Assistant on our classmate.

National Instruments specifies 1024x768 as the minimum supported screen resolution for the Vision Assistant. The Classmate screen is not capable of that resolution. If there is a way around the screen size requirement, I do not know of it.

Bottom line: To run the Vision Assistant, use a better computer.

Wink Re: Problems with launching Vision Assistant on our classmate.

Hi there.

We researched on how we can force to change the resolution, but the classmate does not comply. Essentially, we got another computer and connected it to an external monitor (more deskspace for programming) and now we are running fine.

You should try it.
