I just wanna say how proud I am of our minibot subteam group. They put in about a 16 hour work day on Saturday starting at 9AM. They keep pushing forward, willing to try new things, and I'm so happy with the progress we're making.
Some stats on "Alan"- our minibot:
- He weighs 2.88 lbs total- required Tetrix battery (~1.3 lbs) and Tetrix motor (~.5 lbs) leaves the rest of Alan to weigh about 1 lb. We've made him as light as possible, with a couple more tenths of a pound to still shave off.
- He's somewhere between 12 and 14 inches long.
- I guess the rest you'll have to see at FLR, Chesapeake, and St. Louis!
You have the rest of your life to play video games. Time at an FRC tournament is precious. Use it wisely. - gblake [more]
