Using Tetrix Motors WITHOUT gearbox
The gear box on one of our Tetrix motors failed. Since using the motor without the gear box is legal and more efficient, we are looking into using the motors sans gear box.
Has anyone come up with a good way to integrate the little gear on the motor with the other Tetrix gears? Is grinding down or otherwise modifying the gear on the motor itself allowed or would this be illegal motor modification? Thanks |
