Shrink Tubing on Minibot...

I'm from a rookie team, and I was wondering about the rules regarding shrink tubing on the minibot. It says in the manual that you can use shrink tubing, but do you have to use for the intended purposes?

We want to use some as a film due to it's low coefficient of friction, but are unsure if this is legal.

Thanks

Re: Shrink Tubing on Minibot...

The manual says it is an allowed material. It makes no mention of how it must be used. Using it due to it's material properties should be perfectly legal.

Re: Shrink Tubing on Minibot...

Don't have to shrink it. Nor does it still have to be tubing. Still has to fit in the 12x12x12 though.
