Re: Tower Targets 'active' for Ten Seconds after Match

@EricH: Couldn't a minibot be motionless at the buzzer and then start moving up like 1 second later (and reach the top before the 10 seconds expire) if another minibot was moving during that 1 second? Of course, that is really impractical, but still a possibility.

The minibot in question was at rest at the buzzer. Even if it does trigger the target, the refs would quite probably discount those points, because the minibot was at rest.

<G68> Scores will be assessed when the MATCH ends and all objects in motion come to rest, or 10 seconds elapses, whichever comes first.
An object at rest when the match ends that starts motion later would probably be considered at rest for scoring purposes. Note that I'm not quite sure here.

Though, that is an interesting point that has never had to be dealt with before, and should probably go to Q&A: If a Minibot that has been deployed onto the pole when the match ends by the arena timer but is not moving vertically for some reason should start moving vertically after the arena timer reaches zero and reach the target before the 10-second "settling period" given by <G68>, would the Minibot in question score? Would the same answer apply if another Minibot was in upwards vertical motion at the end of the match?
