Great if you're planning on just being a hanger robot that sits there for a feeder robot. If you want to be able to move anywhere though, you might want to seriously upgrade your speed.

I commented on the video about the same thing, and they said this was low gear, just barley moving the bot around. I am sure they understand the need for speed.

Given that the area they were driving their robot was very small, I'm sure that was at a fraction of the power of their low gear.
Looks good, guys! It's definitely important to be getting familiar with the robot early on. Hopefully you can drive around in a larger space to see if the robot is up to the challenges of competition! |
