cRIO switches reversed? Maybe? Possibly?

We're having an odd problem with our cRIO. It appears that when we flip the switch to the 'off' position for Safe Mode, it actually goes into Safe Mode. When we turn it on, it lets us update the image, deploy code, communicate, and everything else we should be able to do. The other switches also seem to be reversed.

This would be a simple odd eccentricity but it has coincided with "no robot code" issue that is occurring at the same time. We're down to taking everything apart, cleaning parts and contacts, and then putting it all back together again. Thought I'd ping the group for ideas before any radical surgery takes place.

Thank you in advance for any assistance.

Re: cRIO switches reversed? Maybe? Possibly?

our cRIO was stuck on safe mode, no matter the switch state. we had no choice but to replace the DIP switch. we did it carefully and it worked fine after replacing

Re: cRIO switches reversed? Maybe? Possibly?

The word "OFF" is printed on one side of the bank of DIP switches. When the end of the switch on that side is pressed down, the switch is off. When the other end of the switch is pressed down, the switch is on.

Are you saying that your switches are acting like they're on when they're depressed on the "OFF" side, and vice versa?
