Go to Post I'm sure there aren't a bunch of rule makers sitting in a board room discussing "What rule can we change now to mess with the teams' heads?" Lets all just sit back and enjoy the regionals! - Rick [more]

Question NEW Jaguar Problems - 2010 Jags Allowed?

We're using the 2011 Black Jaguars for our robot, connected to the digital sidecar via PWM, and as soon as we enable tele-operated mode on the driver station, we get a long flashing red light on the Jags. In the manual, it says that it's a fault condition, which could mean:

-Power supply under-voltage -- Voltage is fine, and has been double checked.
-Over temperature -- Robot has been left off for overnight, can't be the problem.
-Over current -- Current is fine as well, checked.
-Limit switch activated in the current direction of motion -- Limit switched not activated, jumpers inserted, since we're not using the limit switches.

Any help is much appreciated.

And your limit switches are vertical, as shown in this photo?

Where and how did you measure the current?

What happens if you disconnect the motors?
