We're using the 2011 Black Jaguars for our robot, connected to the digital sidecar via PWM, and as soon as we enable tele-operated mode on the driver station, we get a long flashing red light on the Jags. In the manual, it says that it's a fault condition, which could mean:
-Power supply under-voltage -- Voltage is fine, and has been double checked. -Over temperature -- Robot has been left off for overnight, can't be the problem. -Over current -- Current is fine as well, checked. -Limit switch activated in the current direction of motion -- Limit switched not activated, jumpers inserted, since we're not using the limit switches. Any help is much appreciated. Dylan McCarthy (dwmcc) Team 2192 www.nhs2192.tk |

Re: NEW Jaguar Problems - 2010 Jags Allowed?
And your limit switches are vertical, as shown in this photo?
![]() Where and how did you measure the current? What happens if you disconnect the motors? |
