Here are a couple of articles about a smaller version created by a group of Mechanical Engineering students here at Purdue. David Hoff, one of the members, is an alumni of Purdue FIRST, a group of Purdue students who help mentor FIRST teams in the area (FRC teams 461, 1646, and 1747 and numerous FLL teams throughout the local area).

I find the shooting of the snow to be less than ideal. I think the plow would be a lot faster too.

I think that a plow would be a bit safer to inherently.

You have to take a bit more into consideration when using a snow blower.
