Pneumatic System Help.

How many electronic valves/solenoid valves (for the pneumatic system) are we allowed to use on the robot for this year's game? Are there specific ones we are allowed to use and that are restricted?

Re: Pneumatic System Help.

check the manual for the number allowed ( i think its unlimited) but within the same area is listed all the specs of ANY solenoid you may use.. as long as it fits the specifications. its under the COTS section of the pneumatics.

best of luck, 2057

R66
B. Solenoid valves with a maximum ⅛” NPT port diameter, and a maximum Cv of 0.32 (if non-KOP valves are used, the team will be required to provide part documentation validating that the valves meet these constraints).
J. Pneumatic cylinders.
K. Pneumatic storage tanks.

There is no limit on solenoid valves, actuators or storage tanks as long as all of the other rules are met and you do not exceed your budget, bank account, or spending limit of $3500 USD.
