Question Programming Encoders

Hey, rookie programmer here. I just want to know how to program some encoders in LabView 8.6. I see the enoder function with the A source and B source but when I try to create a constant, something really confusing comes up on the screen. Therefore, if any can help inform us on how to fill out the constant "form" or if there is an alternative way please respond.

Thankx in Advance

Re: Programming Encoders

Look at the encoder example included with labview. You need to create digital inputs, and then connect that to the encoder A and B inputs through a digital source conversion.
