Not Activated??

I am part of a rookie team and I have been having problems lately with the computer claiming that Windows is not authentic or validated. Does anyone know a fix for this?

Re: Not Activated??

Team Update #7 has all the gory details. We've just figured out where the updates are posted, so don't feel so bad. You all really need to read through them (they are on the usfirst.org/frc site, one of the sidebar items).

Re: Not Activated??

Look at the Kit of Parts website.

Partway down you'll see:They have what you need.
After following the instructions you may need to go to Start->Computer,
then System Properties on the pop-up window menu bar.
Down at the bottom will be the status of your Windows license and a button to activate if you still need it.

Re: Not Activated??

Maybe I'm wrong, but those files look a lot like files used to illegally crack windows 7 copies.... I haven't compared the source, but the names and process to "register" Windows 7 in these instructions is IDENTICAL to what you'd find on TPB.

Could someone with experience explain this? I can't imagine FIRST is encouraging teams to steal from a fantastic FRC sponsor.
