We don't even have a mentor yet we still were up for the international award! (in 2010)

Re: Size of your teams?

Haha. My first year doing animation, I did it all alone. My second year the animation team doubled - I got a freshman to help me. This year we once again doubled the animation team, we now have four dedicated animation students (Me, the sophomore from last year, and two freshman). We also have an amazing artist who will draw/paint whatever we want him to. So, currently, we have 'kind of' five animation people. There's never been an animation mentor on my team really, I'm self taught and I've helped teach all the freshman that have come my way.

So technically you are the mentor.
You don't have to be a grown up to be a mentor. Just willing to share what you know with others.

Re: Size of your teams?

Our animation team is mostly me, with a small amount of help from three others (one did one scene, another did a model, and another helped with brainstorming). But that's alright considering we only have 12 people on our team, and this is our rookie year.

Re: Size of your teams?

3 animators, 8 or 9 mentors, about 26 students total. This is our 10th year as a team, and 6th year as animators.
