Push "M" on the keyboard. This brings up the material editor.

Switch to compact mode (In the settings bar on top)

Click on hte button that says "Arch and Design"

Double click on Standard.

Click on the little box next to the abmient and diffuse color boxes.

Choose "Bitmap" and upload the file.

Drag it onto the Iiko model. In order to put it on him, you will have to right-click on the screen and select "unfreeze all".

You can also take the images that are in the "sceneassets/images" folder provided with the iiko files and drag them into your "documents/3dsmax/sceneassets/images" folder.
