Making swing dashboard

hi. we where thinking about making our own dashboard with swing. if i where going to do this. how would i send data like joystick position to the custom dashboard? thank you

If you wish to work with the pre-existing Dashboard protocol, you will need to reverse engineer it (or find someone who has). You should be able to access Robot->Dashboard on UDP ports specified in the manual, specifically, look at team update #5.
