JVN Build Tip: Team Numbers

Today's tip has to do with putting your team numbers on your bumpers.

In the 2011 FRC Game Manual rule states:
Teams shall display their team numbers on the BUMPERS in four locations at approximately 90 degree intervals around the perimeter of the ROBOT. The numerals must be at least 4" high, at least 3/4" in stroke width and in contrasting color from its background. Team Numbers must be clearly visible from a distance of not less than 100 feet, so that judges, referees, and announcers can easily identify competing ROBOTS.

What is the 148 secret to this? Silver Sharpie Markers.

As always... good luck in 2011!
