NI Vision assistant: Acquire Axis image
I'm having trouble with the "acquire image from Axis" feature.
When I try to "acquire a single image" or "acquire continuous images", I get the error: ![]() Sequence acquisition returns no errors, but all the images come out black. I can use the WPI Camera Vis to acquire images with LabVIEW with the default IP address: 192.168.0.90. (This is the IP address used in the NI Vision Assistant as well). Am I doing anything wrong? (There are plenty of workarounds, but it'd be nice if this feature worked) |

Re: NI Vision assistant: Acquire Axis image
Are you talking about the Acquire Image (Axis IP) camera type? Then you press play or get single image?
I wouldn't expect that error, but if it doesn't work for a given camera, check the account setup on the camera. Also, occasionally the cameras will return a server busy error, but again, I wouldn't expect that to turn into a zero length image data error. Greg McKaskle |

Re: NI Vision assistant: Acquire Axis image
You were right about the configuration.
It appears the NI Vision Assistant only uses the FRC, FRC username/password combination, wheras the WPI code will work with any of three combinations. |
