1771 slow speed elevator test video

We still don't have our Banebots gearboxes , so we have a slow speed substitute installed for testing. It seems to work well enough. We need to change encoders, the magnetic encoder seems to be noisy (the encoder we are using is a COTS magnetic encoder from RLS). We are getting random noise on the outputs when the shaft is not moving, which is interpreted as encoder counts. Has anyone else seen this with magnetic encoders? We will probably go with a standard optical unit for competition.
