Imaging Crio

What do the dip switches on the Crio need to be set to when re-imaging? also, what should they be set to when we are just installing code? Thanks for all the help.

Re: Imaging Crio

We keep getting an error message when trying to re-image the crio.
Error 66 occurred at TCP Read in NI_InternetTK_Common_VIs.lvlib:TCP Read xTP.....

Has anybody else had anything like this happen?

Turn them all OFF. Leave them OFF.

There are legitimate reasons you might want to turn any of them on (except maybe NO FPGA), but if you don't know you need to do it, don't do it.

This might be a case where you need to use one of the switches I just said to leave turned OFF.

Turn off power to the cRIO, move the SAFE MODE switch to ON, and apply power again. After about 20 seconds, try to reimage the cRIO. If that goes okay, turn OFF the SAFE MODE switch, reboot the cRIO, and reimage it again.

Re: Imaging Crio

In the 'Select Image' box, how do you change the name of the zip file? i'm trying to image v28, but it says v25 in the box, and I can't figure out how to point it to the correct file.

Re: Imaging Crio for WindRiver

i just answered my own question - you have to install the latest update for Windriver first - then the correct file name shows up.
