The valves we are thinking of using are actually SMC valves from the 2007 kit. I found a data sheet here: http://www.team358.org/files/pneumatic/
but I am having a tough time reading it. Anyone have a sense of whether these would be legal? If not we will have to order another of the new valves and hope it gets here by next week... |

It looks like it is possible to have a Cv of .33 with a certain configuration (3-position, Exhaust Center) but I believe that the valve we have (SY3240) indicates 2-position. Under Port Diameter it says: Rc(PT)1/8. Is that the same as 1/8" NPT? Also it looks like their maximum pressure is 0.7 MPa (101 psi) so we will have to install an additional pressure relief valve set to that pressure. Thanks for your help. |
