Cool Back and Seeking a Team....

Ok...so any of you that know me have probably realized that I've been really rather absent from the FIRST scene since around River Rage. I think I just needed a moment to step back and look at where my place in FIRST is now that I'm out of the high school end of things. And I came to one conclusion...

I'm not done with FIRST yet, just done with the "floater" I've become over the past few seasons or so.

The way I figure it, most on here don't know me as a chick with a single team identity. I have lots of friends on lots of teams that have been great and taken me in for so many different things. And I do consider myself a part of them, but in a different way. It's great to be "adopted" at competitions, and when you need a helping hand (teams 177 and 168 particulary... couldn't have done the 2001 season without either of ya!! Definately a season to remember ) but for me there is something missing in it all without having a close knit team to work with through the good times, the hard times, and the late night hack jobs in a dusty shop It's just a part of the FIRST I miss....

So after all that long winded-ness, I'm going to post what I really wanted to say. I now (yeah, took me a while!) have my license and a pickup truck - what I need is a team to help out. So if there's a team within about an hour's drive of Boston or so, who wouldn't mind taking in an old veteran for the few nights a week and the weekends I can offer... or who just plain needs a truck to help haul their tools and/or 'bot around to competitions I'd be more than willing to help out if you give me a shot.

No need to post here if there is a team looking for help You can either PM me on here, or email me at DakotaRebel98@yahoo.com . Thanks for reading my tirade See y'all at Kickoff....
