Ok, so we were testing our arm and have broken a lead on our motor (the negative lead). According to R47
"Motors and servos used on the ROBOT shall not be modified in any way, except as follows:
A. The mounting brackets and/or output shaft/interface of the motors may be modified to facilitate the physical connection of the motor to the ROBOT and actuated part.
B. The electrical input leads on the motors may be trimmed to length as necessary."
So according to this it seems to me that we can modify the connectors to attach to the bot/electrical interface and then it seems that I saw somewhere that we were now allowed to repair the leads on the Tetrix motors if they broke. So here is the question, are we allowed to do the same thing on the RS-550?
Thoughts? There is nothing in the rules that I can find that specifically prohibits reattaching a broken lead...maybe I'm not searching the correct keyword/s...
