LabVIEW Installation issues -- Real Time Module

I have been trying to install the FRC edition of LabVIEW on my laptop. When the installer reaches LabVIEW real time module, windows setup crashes with no error message being generated other than "setup.exe has stopped working". In the post-install, I am told that a version of "NI-VISA" has been detected on my system that is not supported. I cannot find a trace of any such program, in either my program list, or even the registry. I normally consider myself fairly computer literate, but this is absolutely stumping me. I've tried installing as an Admin and various compatibility settings, but nothing seems to work. Any suggestions?

My system specs:
HP dv6
Windows 7 Home Premium, 64 bit
4GB ram
AMD Phenom II N930 2GHZ quad core processor
~350GB of free hard drive space

Very odd. Do you have a version of Mindstorms or Tetrix supported version of LV?

On Monday, I'd call tech support and see what sort of registry cleaning or diagnostics they can suggest.

Interesting suggestion. I do have RoboLAB 2.9 installed, and recently failed to install a very early version of NXT-G software, though at the time, I simply passed it off as Windows 7 incompatibility. I will try uninstalling RoboLAB, and removing any trace elements of the failed NXT-G install, and report back.

Update: It worked! I had uninstall RoboLAB, the portions of LabVIEW that successfully installed, and do a deep-cleaning of the registry to get rid of anything that said "National Instruments" on it, but it has now installed correctly. If anyone else has this issue, try removing these items (but be careful around your registry). Thanks Greg!
