HELP NEEDED , CAN IMAGE BUT CAN'T PROGRAM

Hello,

We are in need of serious help, we have been programming with one laptop issued from the school and also my laptop. Do to administration issues we could not load the Driver Station unto the school laptop, so we run the driver station off of my laptop. All was working fine for the last weeks, when testing out the robot with the code, until when I updated the cRIO with the Version 27 image from my laptop. The school laptop can not connect to the internet only to the robots wireless, so no way of downloading the update. Every-time I connect wireless with my computer I can use the driver station and everything is lit green, all communications are good. But I cant seem to connect through Ethernet , and when I run diagnostics it says , "Connect Ethernet" when indeed it is one inserted. I can connect to the network wireless with the robot and image it , but I can't seem to download code. It always says , "Stop waiting and disconnect (using lab-view). Is the robot not working because I am using a V27 cRIO with a lab-view that has V25 on its image? If so what could be wrong with my computer , why can I image , but why can't I download code ? Note their are no electronic issues. Thank-you . "

Wouldn't my computer recognize the Ethernet port even though that Lab-view is on V27 ? Usually when I plug in the Ethernet from the school computer the slot lights up that I am inserting it in. But when I try my personal computer the port doesn't light up at all. And note that all internet connections are okay.
