Can we use an FTC Motor (DC Drive Motor 152rpm) on the hostbot/robot?
Is it legal to use a DC Drive Motor 152rpm on the hostbot/robot?
I looked in the manual and i was curious if its implied that we can use FTC parts on the robot. |

Re: Can we use an FTC Motor (DC Drive Motor 152rpm) on the hostbot/robot?
You can use FTC parts on the Hostbot, as long as they comply with all other rules. They're COTS.
However, for the case of motors, you run up against <R45> (allowed motor list) not including FTC motors and <R46> banning any motor not allowed by <R45>. As such, that's a no on FTC motors on the Hostbot. |
