2011 FLR Robots

Team 217 is excited to go to FLR for the second straight year (3rd time since its inception in 2005). I am sorry to disappoint but you will have to wait to see our robot at the event this year. I put the robot picture on lock down this year for many reasons that I really don't want to discuss here.

I will tell you about some features, though:

6WD using 6 motors (4 CIM + 2 RS775) and shifting.

Arm robot that can pick-up from the floor and place on the top row.

Unique gripper that is not a roller claw.

A 1.4 second mini-bot, including deployment time (no, this is not a joke)

Can't wait to see everyone at the event.
