Am I supposed to know my gear ratio ? To be honest, I actually don't know all of that. I just built it . It uses the largest tetrix gears in the FTC mini kit, and they go to the smallest gears mounted on the wheels.

Okay based on that.....I am assuming you are using either a limit switch or household light swtich to start/stop your minibot when it hits the top. Take whatever side you have left either normally open/normally closed output (depends on your design) and short that across your motors in series and you will get something similar to our result
