Delay between inputs

When we move the inputs we get a slight delay the robots movement. For example we move the joystick forward, and the robot moves about a second later. This might not seem like much, but it can handicap us during competition as our reaction time would be affected. Does anyone have any idea on what would be the problem.

Re: Delay between inputs

Probably a slow Teleop loop, or other slow code running in parallel and driving the CPU utilization too high.

Do you know how to use the tools to measure:
  • The Teleop loop rate (tool: Elapsed Times.vi located under "Support Code" in the Project Explorer window)
  • cRIO CPU utilization (tool: System Manager under Tools->Real-Time Module)
