Re: Pneumatic BreakOut Power?
You can't run lights off of the Solenoid Breakout.
<R60> Solenoid Breakout outputs shall be connected to pneumatic valve solenoids or photoelectric sensors, PN 42EF-D1MNAK-A2, only. No other devices shall be connected to these outputs. |

Re: Pneumatic BreakOut Power?
Nick,
Can you PM me with a list of the items you are currently running from the PD outputs? I am intrigued as to how you have managed to use every output. |

Re: Pneumatic BreakOut Power?
As already mentioned, only specific items may be connected to the solenoid breakout board.
It is permissible to combine multiple small 'control system' loads to a single breaker output on the PDB, provided you properly splice the branch circuits together into one set of conductors that terminates in the Wago pairs. So, for example, you could power two separate analog C-Rio modules off the same breaker if you first combine their power leads into one set of positive and negative wires that then connect to the wago ports. This can also be done with custom circuits The specific rules regarding this can be found in the robot manual. The most related one I can think of is <R38>D, but there are other related rules in the same section. It's worth a careful read because there are some important exceptions regarding this sort of wiring. It is also permissible to connect multiple solenoids to a single Spike relay, if possible, to reduce both the number of spikes and branch circuits. |
