Re: 2011 BAE Granite State Regional

Congratulations to 175, 1519 and 176 for an impressive win.

I felt a little guilty watching the game from poolside down here in Florida... But I got over it...

All four minibots scored in the last match... Very Impressive! Minibots most definitely made the difference at this regional...

Regards,

Mike

The real real best part? I was coaching the human player that landed that tube....and three days prior while discussing how to throw tubes he asked me what to do if one of his throws were to ring around the tower. I told him it probably wasn't possible. He proved me wrong. Very wrong.

But anyway... a big thanks to 175 and 1519 for a great afternoon!!!

Re: 2011 BAE Granite State Regional

I have no clue how 176 fell to the 14th pick of the draft. Incredible.

Congratulations 175, 1519, 176.

Great job 20 on getting it together in time for the finals.

Re: 2011 BAE Granite State Regional

It feels awesome to finally get a banner after 17 years of 166 existing. I'm not sure if anyone on our team is going to get sleep at all tonight because they are still so excited! I recorded our award being announced and the finals and uploaded them to youtube, here are the links:

Re: 2011 BAE Granite State Regional

Sorry to continue the 166 spam, but I agree with Kevin, we're all wicked excited. All the teams there did an awesome job, and should be really proud of what they've done! Yeah, there were some problems with fields, robots, and emotions at times, but overall, the competition was amazing!
Congrats to all the teams, especially the winners 175, 1519, and 176!

EDIT: Also, the reverse logos were entertaining. Our team used a prop that looked like the logo posts for our chairman's presentation, and after the match when we did it backwards, we reversed the order on our prop just to poke fun at our drive coach.

Re: 2011 BAE Granite State Regional

This was a great regional to compete at, every match of the Elimination Rounds had you on the edge of your seat waiting for what was next.

Thanks to 1519 and 176, our great alliance partners, and it must be said great alliance and robots to 131, 40,and 20, it was a tough competition.

Thanks to all teams for a great competition!
