Awesome job to all teams! 131, 40 and 20 were tough competition and had stellar robots. Thanks to 1519 and 176 for being fantastic alliance partners!

Thanks to all teams for a great competition!
Morgan you are so correct about that, you're never living that down! That was too bizarre.

Re: 2011 BAE Granite State Regional

I can't believe nobody else mentioned this!
Congratulations also to TJ Evarts for becoming a Dean's List finalist! I don't think I've ever seen you online, and I can't tell if you're on CD, but can one of you on 1058 (vance?) tell him I said Congrats, and sorry that I beat him down the stairs? (xD)

Thank you, guys, but I saw a lot of people do amazing things in the last couple of days - particularly 151, who managed to cram a TON of work into three days. You guys are truly inspiring! (Sorry I don't shout out to many more teams, I was working in the pits most of the time so I saw very few matches and mostly communicated with the teams near us...I made time to run around with our mascot near the end though!)

Re: 2011 BAE Granite State Regional

Everyone did so well! My team (1721) had some troubles, but we still had a blast! I miss everyone so much! I woke up this morning, got in the shower, then grabbed my team shirt, I was so disappointed when I remembered I didn't need it... Hahah, good job everyone!

It was great having your team as neighbors in the pits. And talking with the St. Paul's students, chatting with the Saints team across the aisle, meeting Team 2010 from Ohio and... you get the idea.

LucyBugg - you've highlighted one of my favorite parts of the competition: all the terrific people!

Re: 2011 BAE Granite State Regional

What a great event! Team 131, CHAOS certainly had the time of our lives! Thnaks to everyone we had a chance to play with and special thanks to our elimination round partners teams 40 & 20! It was an honor to get the chance to play against the winning alliance of 175, 1519 & 176 in the finals. All of these teams performed extremely well and deserved their hard earned win.

Also a huge shout out to team 166, Chop Shop for their Chainrman's Award win!. A great recognition for a great group of people.

I had the chance to shake of some rust and enter the coaching box for the first time in 10 years. It took a while to get back into the swing of it but I had a great time working with all of our alliance partners over the weekend!

I would like to offer thanks to all of the amazing volunteers form BAE Systems who put their personal time into making this event happen for us.

Thanks to all volunteers & teams who competed for helping to make this the best event in FIRST!

~Rob

Re: 2011 BAE Granite State Regional

Team 40 would like to give a huge (and overdue) congratulations to 175, 1519 & 176 for the win!

Also, a big thank you goes out to Team 131, CHAOS, and Team 20, the Rocketeers. Going so far in the regional would not have been possible without your help! Team 20 did an incredible job at herding the tubs closer to us, and we would never have been able to score so many tubes without CHAOS’s help. We greatly admired the way that CHAOS decided to score the tubes, and we thought the design was very interesting. Team 20 had a very good mini-bot design that never failed. We wish both teams luck in future events, and we hope to work with you again very soon!

Finally, BAE Systems deserves all the credit in the world for putting on such a fabulous event. Even with all the problems of Week 1, BAE is able to make the event enjoyable and keep us coming back year after year. Can't wait to see what you have in store for the 10 year!
