ds radio light and driver station configuration

Our ds radio light on our driver station doesn't seem to light up, anyone know anything that can fix this?

I've attached links of a few screenshots of our drivers station

Re: ds radio light and driver station configuration

The DS Radio LED represents the IP address that was formerly required in order for the DS to work. It represents the blue WRT610N. This year, the dlink is capable of hosting the robot network and the DS laptop joins it directly without necessarily needing to use a DS radio.

In other words, this isn't anything to be concerned about. Any team using the dlink in access point mode and not bridging it through something like the WRT610N will see the same lights.

hmmm

alright then there is also another error.

We can't deploy the code to the CRIO, the error message is "failed to connect to real time target"

However, we CAN ping the CRIO from the command prompt.

Re: ds radio light and driver station configuration

From the screenshot, it looks like you sometimes connect, and other times you get that dialog. That dialog is put up anytime the cRIO doesn't respond for a few seconds, but its appearance doesn't mean that the connection is down, just that the transactions are slow. I'd recommend giving it some time and see what happens. If it is going to fail, the Stop Waiting dialog will disappear and the Deployment Progress dialog will give more info.
