Has anyone had any luck getting the New York City feed running today? I tried both the above link and the link from NASA (mms://sargasso-3.arc.nasa.gov/nycregional) with no luck.

Yep, I have it running right now (using the NASA link). It didn't load in Media Player Classic for me, but VLC and WMP were both able to open it.

NASA feed worked fine for me. I'm using Chrome and it auto loaded it up in Real Player.

If it isn't working in VLC I'd guess a firewall issue, either Windows Firewall or a router/local firewall blocking the stream. VLC bundles all the codecs it uses internally so it should be fairly resistant to differences in systems.
