Duluth winners

Congratulations to 876, 2512, and 3747. Thank you to teams 877 and 3840 for the good try. As many robotics coaches say, the competition is a part design, build, marketing, driving, but part luck.

Great job overall. Can't wait to see most of those teams again at 10000 Lakes.

Re: Duluth winners

As a new mentor and coach with a new FIRST team, I just have to say wow! The experience for our students was incredible, and would have been even if we had not been part of the winning alliance. I want to thank the students and mentors from the other teams who were always willing to help and answer questions during the competition. Your help was instrumental in our success.

There were many great robots but many more great people. The students, mentors, and volunteers put an amazing amount of work into this competition and even when they were obviously busy with their own work, they would take time to help another team. To see this in a high school competition is inspiring to say the least. Thanks again!

Re: Duluth winners

Good luck for sure! I hope you guys have the funding for St. Louis. We too were selected as a rookie team to the winning alliance and got to go to the championships. I will tell you (as you will soon learn) you will learn a lot, and have a great time. Just remember to take it all in and learn from the best. Go check out 148, 33, 16, 217, and many more; that was my goal. Hopefully we will see you there.
