Sponsor placement on team shirts!!!

OK, so do we list NASA on the back of our team shirts as well as the logo on the left sleeve? Also, do we list FIRST as a sponsor too? Please forgive me but this is the first year I have done shirts and I don't want to be disrespectful to our NASA or FIRST. Thanks

Re: Sponsor placement on team shirts!!!

We just have NASA and our other sponsers on the back. You don't have to list FIRST but it would be cool!

Re: Sponsor placement on team shirts!!!

Here are our team shirts. The only thing we changed from these designs is that we made the sponsor's logos in color.

It's pretty customary to have sponsors on the back and if your team can afford it, the FIRST logo on the sleeve is always cool.

A sponsor gives you money. FIRST in turn takes the money that the sponsor gave you. They certainly aren't a sponsor. That said, we usually put the FIRST logo somewhere on our shirts.

Every new placement costs money. This year we put our logo on the front in 2 colors (yellow and white), and all the sponsors on the back (Yellow only). A sleeve will cost more if it is a 3rd location. We did not put the FIRST logo anywhere.

The best way to disrespect a sponsor is to get their logo wrong. Make sure you have their official logo, ideally from a location dedicated to the logo and the like (as opposed to a screen grab off their home page). Most organizations have a logo for full color and another for single color, be sure to use the right one. If there's a doubt, ask them! Also, be sure their logo has sufficient 'empty space' around it, most organizations have a specification for that. Their press department is used to getting calls and will be happy to verify correct logo usage.
