1126 in their rookie year started to smoke at their open house. We invited 191 over to share the spotlight and we showed them a little smoke. Later at our first regional it won us an award, "Grace Under Fire" Judges award. Always a good story.

i believe that was my team, the robot almost got fire extinguished.

I remember it too. I was working in pit admin that year. The team gleefully showed off the melted and charred wire.

That would be a great finishing move to do after deploying a minibot in elmis though. Or just before moving in autonomous; the first 5 seconds the robot just sits there generating a fog then, quiet click (shifters), and ZOOM ROBOT!
