Interested in getting my team started up with computer design
I was wondering, what would be the best way to get my team to learn how to develop designs for robots...what software, guides, etc. Let me know!

Scroll to the bottom of the page to find a video about robot design. Another way to learn how to develop designs is to be informed about various designs. http://first.wpi.edu/Images/CMS/Firs...ors_Needel.ppt Lifting Mechanisms http://first.wpi.edu/Images/CMS/Firs...Mechanisms.ppt Manipulating game pieces |

Lego Mindstorms is also a fun and easy way to quickly test designs and learn the basics of programming. Most of your team probably already knows how to build with Legos and the software is as basic as it gets, yet contains many powerful tools.
