In a previous thread of mine there is a program that will record and playback user inputs. I would like to have the option to download that file from the cRIO onto the classmate for analysis or future use. It'd be nice to be able to do this within the program.
Right now the only thing I can think of is to have it send the data to the dashboard and save it that way, but doing so would slowdown the dashboard.

If you just want to be able to retrieve the file after it has been stored on the cRIO, it sounds like ftp is the appropriate tool for your needs.

If you're not sure what to use to do this, download FileZilla - that works well for us.
